Top Entrance exams after 12th Std | Career options after 12th

There are many courses that can Purse after class XII, depending on their interests and abilities. Although there are several options to choose from, but each course has a number of institutions with limited places, and so obvious that there is no access to a piece of cake. There are many takers for a limited number of seats in various colleges and so access to theses done on the basis of entrance examinations. Some of them are All-India level (national level) or the state level entrance exams.
Here is a list and description of some of the best entrance exams conducted in India after class XII:

Engineering Entrance Exams

JEE Main
JEE Main National level entrance exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education after class XII for admission to engineering programs on NITs, IITs and centrally funded technical institutions, such as the IIST, and the test is eligible for JEE Advanced. Previously, it was known as
AIEEE.

JEE Advanced
JEE (Advanced) is conducted by IITs and only candidates who have qualified as JEE main permissible to take the test. Admission is available to all qualifying students Undergraduate Engineering and other sciences programs offered by 16 IITs in India and ISM Dhanbad. There are two paper 3 hours each. The exam will be bilingual (English and Hindi). Each exam will consist of three separate sections of physics, chemistry and mathematics.

BITSAT
Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test is administered class XII students for admission to the engineering degree courses in bits campuses in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. BITSAT computer-based online entrance examination for admission to BITS Pilani  engineering, pharmaceuticals, information systems and other courses. Notifications are in December and online tests are carried out in May and June.

VITEEE
Vellore Institute of Technology conducts engineering entrance tests (VITEEE) for receiving students in its various programs B Tech degree. Online applications are available from December and the test is carried out in March. Architecture admission tests

NATA
National Aptitude Test in Architecture entrance examination for admission to The Arch courses in India and state governments and the UN helped aided colleges of architecture. NATA can be given at any designated test centers at least 6 working days before the cut-off date for applications under the preferred college. NATA application forms can be obtained in March, and you can take the exam at any time from March to August

AIPMT
All India Pre Medical Test held at the Central Board of Secondary Education for admission only for 15 per cent of the national quota in government medical / dental colleges all over India and 100 percent of the seats in the Delhi University, BSU, AFMC, Jamia Hamdard and medical colleges in the states Jharkhand, Chhatisgarh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh.The entrance

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) holds entrance exams after Class XII at the national level for admission to MBBS seats in AIIMS New Delhi and other six new AIIMS like institutions. AIIMS conducts exams for the 72 seats in the MBBS in Delhi and 100 in each other AIIMS like institutions.

JIPMER MBBS Entrance Test
Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) holds entrance exams for admission to MBBS course at his institute. There are a total of 150 seats for receiving the same. Course duration is 4 years and 6 months, both in the academic calendar JIPMER then 1 year of compulsory rotational internship.

Christian Medical College MBBS entrance exam
Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore and Ludhiana, to conduct a separate entrance test for admission to MBBS, BDS and other medical courses.

AIPVT
All India Pre-Veterinary Test (AIPVT) entrance exam is held after class XII for admission to five years and VSC B. AH courses in India. The exam is held to fill 15 percent of the total number of seats in the state veterinary colleges, except the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

State Common Entrance Tests
Most indian states pursue a common entrance test for admission to medical, architectural and engineering courses.

Karnataka CET
Karnataka has a general entrance test for admission to vocational schools in the state for the academic year for medical, dental, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy, Yoga, engineering, technology, architecture, agriculture, forestry, sericulture, Agri Biotech, Gardening , Home science, veterinary medicine, animal husbandry, and many other courses.

Kerala KEAM
The Government of Kerala has a general admission tests, Kerala Agricultural Engineering Medical Entrance Exams (Keam), for admission to the medical, agricultural, veterinary, fisheries, construction and architecture courses of admission to universities in the state.

EAMCET - Andhra Pradesh
In Andhra Pradesh, EAMCET (engineering, agriculture and medical Common Entrance Test) is conducted for admission to medical and engineering courses in various government colleges. This entrance examination is conducted after 12 JNTU every year for admission in engineering, medicine and agriculture courses.

COMED-K
A consortium of medical equipment and dental colleges of Karnataka (Comed-K), Bangalore, conducts Undergraduate Entrance Test (Uget). It is performed to determine the merit of students seeking admission to undergraduate courses in institutions, members of professional colleges of Karnataka Trust Foundation (KPCF). There are 14 medical, 25 dental more than 150 engineering colleges, which make nearly 20,000 seats available for admission.

Hotel management entrance exams
NCHMCT JEE
The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology B.Sc joint regulates hospitality and hotel administration and other courses in the 21 central IHM, 14 state governments and 15 private IHM IHM affiliated NCHMCT. For admission to courses in these institutes Board conducts joint entrance test (JEE).

Legislation exams

CLAT
General Law Admission Test (CLAT) held for admission to higher education and post-graduate programs in 14 national legal institutions. Each year, the University of the 14 takes responsibility of the admission test. NIFT entrance test
National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) conducts entrance tests for admission to its undergraduate program. For design B takes GAT and CPR and test situation. For admission to the BF Tech, students must appear in the test GAT.Withholding Tax

The National Institute of Design Design holds Abilities Test for admission to UG its programs at all centers. Applications closed in November each year, and is checked in the month of January. The upper age limit for candidates is 20 years.

Other Entrance tests

NDA exam
In order to join the NDA (ie the National Defence Academy), Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts exams twice a year. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply.
